The look was kind of blue at Biotherm launch, but fans delighted to see Taiwanese star
It's hard to miss Biotherm's new flagship store in Kowloon Tong's Festival Walk. The French skin-care brand's first store to build on its 'blue science' concept, it features a marine blue and white colour scheme and several large advertising light boxes with brand spokeswoman Rainie Yang Cheng-lin's fresh and jolly face smiling at shoppers.
But fans of the Taiwanese singer-actress did not need to glue their eyes on the ads, as Yang flew in from Taiwan to officiate at the store's opening on Wednesday. Donning a blue dress, Yang was greeted by local fans who took up even the floor above where the shop is located.
While Yang will probably be receiving a few early Valentine's Day presents from fans, she said she arrived in Hong Kong a few days before the event to do some shopping in Causeway Bay.
However, she denied that the shopping excursion was for hunting down a gift for her boyfriend, if any, alongside the rumours that she has been hitting it off once again with fellow singer-actor Roy Chiu Tse.
