If you had a lonely Valentine's Day, you are not the only one. Model Lynn Xiong Dailin was all on her lonesome as well.

Her boyfriend, Canto-pop superstar Aaron Kwok Fu-shing, was filming at a location out of town and left the beauty behind on the special date.

'I don't have any special plans for tonight. My parents will be on a date and I'm going to be the spare part,' Xiong said on Tuesday.

She was attending Italian accessories brand Furla's spring-summer collection preview at the Assaggio Italian restaurant in Wan Chai, alongside other guests of honour, model-actress Janice Man Wing-shan and celebrity fashion boutique owner Hilary Tsui Ho-ying.

The event also attracted a bevy of fashion-conscious socialites and party regulars. The girls were inevitably asked about their Valentine's Day plans, and although she was expecting to have a lonely night, Xiong didn't seem particularly upset.

'We both understand that work is our priority,' she said, referring to Kwok. 'But even a simple text message would sweeten up my day. I'd love any gift and it'd be such a bonus if he took the effort to pick one for me.'

Honestly, it's hard to trust a girl when she says she doesn't want to be showered with gifts.
