Henry Tang Ying-yen has been haemorrhaging support, but yesterday there were a few new fans - Hong Kong's crane-hire firms, who were doing brisk business. The media are intent on covering the story from all angles - and that includes from a great height, eager to peek over the high walls around 7 York Road, the property at the heart of the 'underground palace' scandal. The cherry-pickers certainly afforded a good look at the modern architecture and a view, too, of 5a York Road, the less obtrusive white building on the right of the picture (right) which is the chief executive contender's family home. Still, without an X-ray camera or tunnelling equipment, there was no way to verify whether there are any Japanese baths in that basement.
