You've probably heard the expression that it's a dog-eat-dog world out there. After seeing this amazing photo, we probably should change it to a shark-eat-shark world.

The photo is by Daniela Ceccarelli, of Australia's Research Council Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies. She was conducting a fish census near the Great Barrier Reef when she saw a white bamboo shark on the ocean floor. She later realised the bamboo shark's head was inside the mouth of a camouflaged carpet shark. It's common for carpet sharks to swallow big meals; they can dislocate their jaws if they consume prey too big to fit in their mouths.

Angry Birds roost on Facebook

Just when you think you're all angried out, the popular game, Angry Birds, comes to Facebook.

For those who've been hiding under a rock the past couple of years, Angry Birds is a rather simple game where a player uses a slingshot to launch different coloured birds at different structures to knock them down and destroy their mortal enemies, the green pigs. It was first developed for the iPhone by the Finnish mobile game developer Rovio in 2009 and has been downloaded more than 700 million times.

The new game on Facebook will include social components, new power-ups and levels available only on Facebook. It is free to play, but players can buy additional power-ups.

Teacher gives rude rapper a real tongue-lashing

Rap battles are a contest of words and swift thinking. Two opponents are given a short amount of time to rap about anything they like. Their lines have to be thought of on the spot, which adds to the difficulty.

Most battles feature young, budding rappers. But, in Britain, a video of a teacher and poet, aged 30, beating a 17-year-old rapper in a battle, has become popular.

In their online rap contest, teenage rapper MC Blizzard began, littering his rap with swear words and an aggressive tone aimed at his rival. Mark Grist, looking out of place in a suit and tie, responded with a clever range of vocabulary and wordplay. He criticised MC Blizzard using mostly big, not profane, words. His win taught his rival a lesson in humility.
