Yet again the Sunbeam Theatre has secured a lifeline just as it looked to be on the point of closing. The Post - like Cantonese opera aficionados and everyone interested in what has been a landmark venue for decades - is delighted that the theatre will continue to provide its unique cultural events. Unfortunately, news of the rental agreement signed yesterday came too late for us to update our feature in Post Magazine today. Production deadlines meant the magazine had to be printed several days earlier. Let's hope the theatre continues to entertain audiences for another 40 years.
