Sister act fun but not worth their while
It's curious how actress Niki Chow Lai-kei (below left) and her supermodel big sister Kathy Chow Man-kei (below right), two of the hottest siblings in town, are hardly ever double-booked for a commercial event.
The duo made a rare appearance together at Japanese fashion brand Tsumori Chisato's spring-summer collection preview on Saturday at The French Window restaurant in the IFC Mall.
The collection, themed 'Girls in the Caribbean', features playful prints on 1950s bathing suits, Hawaiian shirts and umbrellas. Models donned outfits in all colours of the rainbow.
Guests got to preview the styles freshly flown in from Japan and also entertained themselves in the photo booth set up at the venue while nibbling on kitty-shaped cake pops.
Appearing together didn't bring them a bigger pay cheque, however. 'I think that only applies to couples,' the younger Chow said.
That could be the reason they rarely bother working together.
