Flying Dutchman proves quickest in BMX blitz

Dutchman Raymon van der Biexen clinched the men's elite title at yesterday's seventh running of the BMX Continental Championships held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park. Van der Biexen was quick off the mark as he clocked 27 minutes and 50 seconds, just ahead of German's Luis Brethauer, who clocked 27.70. Jelle van Gorkom, also of the Netherlands, took third place in 27.80. Meanwhile American Daniels Storm lived up to her name as she stormed through to easily win the women's elite race in 32.10 ahead of Chinese pair, Yan Lu (32.90) and Cong Yue (34.90). Competition continues today at the same venue with the Hong Kong BMX Golden League. Unus Alladin
