Tye Angland's upcoming suspension will allow him to return to Australia for the birth of he and his partner Erin's first child, but he made sure he left on a winning note with a Class Five win on Ricky Yiu Poon-fai's Super Pepper. Angland has been granted leave to be with his partner, who is due in the next two weeks. His two-meeting suspension starts today, but he will stay in Australia until the baby is born. Angland used gate three to be prominent in the run on Super Pepper and he stayed out of trouble when Alex Lai Hoi-wing slammed the brakes on in front on Megabucks. Lai was given a three-day suspension and fined $20,000, while Hot Pepper hung on for his third win this season.
