Valmont event all aglow over TVB star

TVB heartthrob Moses Chan Ho may be happily in love with fellow actress Aimee Chan Yan-mei, but their budding romance hasn't put off his devoted female fans.

When Chan was the guest of honour at Swiss skincare brand Valmont's event on Tuesday night, plenty of fans queued up to have their photos taken with him, including socialite Eydie Tai.

The event at The Spa by Valmont in Causeway Bay's Cubus saw the launch of the brand's limited-edition Hydra3 Regenetic Duo serum, designed to stem the signs of ageing.

Chan shared grooming tips and talked about how the product helped protect his skin from the elements when he would travel for his work.

In lieu of the hydrating cream's launch, Valmont donated HK$100,000 to A Drop of Life, a charity committed to helping drought-hit residents in northwestern Gansu province.

For each shopper's purchase of more than HK$8,000 (including the new serum), HK$2,080 will be donated to A Drop of Life's programme to build a rain-saving cellar, which will be inscribed with the customers' names.
