Chau flaunts his game - and grooming tips

Canto-pop idol and former professional basketball player Chau Pak-ho might look like a regular guy next door, but it seems he's put some thought into maintaining his pretty boy look.

'Male grooming can possibly go as far as it does for girls,' Chau said at a launch for Biotherm Homme's T-Pur Anti Oil & Wet series at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai. The star and other guests of honour, including model Alice Burns and TVB actress Mandy Wong Chi-man, got to work on the basketball court to show off their sporty side, while promoting the oil-control beauty line for men on Wednesday. Chau even demonstrated some freestyle basketball moves.

'Because I have to constantly travel, am often sleep-deprived and have to put on make-up, I have to take care of my skin [more diligently],' he said. 'Basically, I use products that hydrate my skin, but not ones that are too greasy.'

Although he's in the know when it comes to male grooming trends, Chau doesn't usually buy his own beauty products.

'To be honest, I get a lot of products from sponsors,' he said.
