Porsche's new Carrera wheels in the stars
Porsche Centre Hong Kong hosted a stellar soiree at the Convention and Exhibition Centre to launch the seventh generation of its flagship 911 Carrera sports car.
The event last Wednesday attracted socialite and A-list celebrity fans to check out the new car models.
The latest version adopts an upgraded sporty look, with a revamped interior inspired by Porsche's Carrera GT, as well as enhanced performance.
The guest of honour, Canto-pop diva Joey Yung Cho-yee, made her entrance in a new Carrera S Cabriolet driven on to the stage, and entertained the guests with a few of her most famous hits.
The beauty, who is a Porsche owner herself, talked enthusiastically about the vehicle. However, she admits she often gets recognised on the road by other drivers, mostly because of her 'JY' car plate, given by her Emperor Entertainment Group boss Albert Yeung Sau-shing. Sometimes, to avoid the unwanted attention, she takes a taxi instead.
We're not sure it's all due to her namesake car plate, though - her fancy ride also cries for attention.
