Lewd photographs showing men wearing only G-strings will not be shown to a court.

Dozens of photos, some of which contain nudity, were seized from the home of Jerome Lau Ting-sing, 31, in Happy Valley, the District Court heard.

He is charged with three counts of indecent assault and two counts of criminal intimidation. Another man, Lo Yan-kit, 26 - a member of the local boyband 4anda - faces one count of criminal intimidation.

Judge Douglas Yau Tak-hong said he saw no point in the prosecution making copies of the photos for the defence team. Legal representatives of Lau and Lo could view the images in a police station, he said.

Lau is accused of indecently assaulting three males - named only as A, B and C in court - between April 24, 2003, and 2007. He also allegedly threatened to damage the reputations of A and D.

Lo is accused of threatening D. The trial was adjourned to May 16.
