Mainlander held for abduction of girl

A mainland tourist was arrested in a Mong Kok nightclub early yesterday over the abduction of the two-year-old daughter of his Hong Kong girlfriend. The man, 22, grabbed the girl and ran off after arguing with his girlfriend, 33, on Thursday night.

Youth arrested over ketamine haul

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy and seized 1.5kg of suspected ketamine at his flat in Ngau Tau Kok. The haul was estimated to be worth HK$160,000. Police raided his flat in Hang On Street at about 10.30pm on Thursday.

Doctor's appeal against conviction dismissed

The Court of First Instance threw out an appeal against conviction by Dr Michael Ho Hung-kwan, 46, for sending Vaseline and Panadol to his parents in Australia and falsifying consultation records. He was found guilty of misconduct in public office.
