What I'm listening to: mainly some CDs I bought while travelling in Morocco and New Caledonia. The rhythms and arrangements from these countries are very different to those we have in Asia. Since I've been listening to them, I've been trying to fuse them into my music.

What I'm watching: Hayao Miyazaki's animated films have always been my favourite, especially Totoro. I feel as if I've returned to my childhood when I watch them. The films always contain some meaningful messages about problems in society and make people think.

What I'm reading: Analects [by Chinese philosopher Confucius]. I went back to my high school for a live performance recently and met the professor who taught me the Analects. I was happy the professor still remembered me after 15 years.I love reading this book because it's full of valuable lessons for life.
