No child anywhere should live in fear
The hit video Kony 2012 shows boys and girls living in fear. The sad truth is that not everyone in the world feels as secure as Hongkongers, who have freedom and peace under the protection of the Basic Law.
The only thing we can do is raise awareness of the horrors committed by Joseph Kony, a rebel leader in Africa who abducts children and turns them into soldiers. And the best way to do this is through the internet.
First, watch the Kony 2012 video on YouTube and share it on Facebook and Twitter. Your friends might like the video, and they might share it with their friends. Then more people will know about this issue.
Second, sign the pledge to show your support. Third, get the bracelet and action kit. Each bracelet has a unique number, which you can register on a website that marks you as part of the 'movement'. The purpose is to get others to ask 'Who is Kony?'
Fourth, I think we should donate a few dollars to rescue child soldiers. Help the non-profit organisation Invisible Children rebuild schools, and create jobs and an early warning radio network to protect villages from rebel attacks in Uganda.
