Hong Kong's Olympic athletes tog up in British brand uniforms once again

British luxury menswear brand Kent & Curwen, which dressed Hong Kong's athletes for the Beijing Olympics, is once again the official uniform sponsor of the Hong Kong, China Olympic Delegation to this year's Olympic Games in London.

No one but the athletes will get their hands on the official uniforms, but there will be a capsule collection of polo T-shirts inspired by the looks.

The brand hosted a lunch on Thursday at the Western Dining Room and Oyster Bar at the Happy Valley racecourse to show off the official uniforms - both formal and casual wear - and the capsule collection.

Those attending included Timothy Fok Tsun-ting and Pang Chung of the Hong Kong, China Sports Federation & Olympic Committee and four Olympic hopefuls from the Hong Kong team.

Fok said the hard-working young athletes competing at the Olympic Games could inspire society to think more positively.

'There will be more than three billion people around the world watching the ceremony,' Fok said. 'At that moment, I hope you all will be cheering for [our athletes] in front of the television. I think they will do us proud. And I can assure you of one thing - they will be one of the best dressed teams [at the opening ceremony].'
