Michael Chang Chun-wai will hold off on moving to blinkers with budding stayer Loving Star, the trainer keen to see the four-year-old relax on raceday first before any changes are made. The New Zealand import scored at his third local start, but there still some signs that told Chang the nervous type was not ready for head gear, nor a step up in distance. 'In the future he will get longer trips and he will respond to blinkers,' he said after the Class Three win over a mile. 'But I'm still not happy with the way he travelled and the way he sweated up. He is mentally still very green, but that should improve over time. I don't want to go to blinkers until he behaves first.'
