Towering above the rest

An intelligent parking tower has begun trial operations in Xiamen, the first of its kind in Fujian province.

With a height of 50 metres, the car park has 25 levels and capacity for 50 cars.

The parking and collection of cars is automatic.

After the driver checks in, the car will be taken to a vacant parking space within the tower.

It will be sent back to the ground level when the car is to be collected, and placed with the front, facing the exit, so the driver can head straight off.
