This week we test: crayon eyeliner
Eyeliner is a make-up bag essential whatever your aesthetic- especially when they're soft, glide like silk and stays put even when you cry.
Shu Uemura Eye Crayon (brown earthy brown) (HK$180)
It's chunky, so you can use it either as a liner, or in a thicker line it's almost like an awesome eyeshadow. It's long lasting, and doesn't smudge much, and especially nice if you blend the two colours.
Missha The Style Dual Eye Tip (HK$98)
This has dual functions of eyeliner and eyeshadow in one pen. The 'twist-up' format means no sharpener is required. It glides on easily, doesn't smudge much and lasts all day. The soft brown colour looks really natural, but the point is not thin enough to draw fine lines.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Intense Kajal Eye Crayon in Dramatic Black (HK$160)
This chunky, playtime-reminiscent pencil glides on smoothly to give you Cleopatra-esque peepers. Or smudge it right after applying for rock-chick smoky eyes. The only problem is if you lose the oversized sharpener!
MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner Crayon (Undercurrent) (HK$135)
Wow, what a way to dramateyes. This glides on smoothly and stays in place. The colour is vibrant and sure to make your eyes the focal point of your face.
Laneige Multi Shaping Eyeliner - Over & Inner Liner #1 Black (HK$140)
A soft-textured crayon that makes smooth, sharp lines and smudgy rock chick equally easy. Oh, and it has good staying power and is smudge-proof, too - what more could you ask of an eyeliner!
