Lively lads show their colours at Dupont launch

The boys were out shopping last week at Jet 8, the new concept store opened by S.T. Dupont on the men's floor of The Landmark in Central.

Bold colours were de rigueur on Wednesday, with TVB actor Michael Tse Tin-wah, singer Alfred Hui Ting-hang and style-savvy actor Kam Kwok-leung sporting the brand's signature brightly hued polo shirts.

Hui said he used the colourful shirts like peacock feathers when he was in high school. 'I remember trying to get the attention of girls in school by wearing vibrant colours, like bright blue and yellow,' he said.

He switched to a more professional look when he became a dentistry student, then picked up colours again after getting into show business.

'My love for experimenting with different looks and more exciting colours began when I entered a singing competition, and my style has progressively evolved over my singing career,' he said.

Tse also shared tips for wearing colours. 'I used to dress in bright reds and oranges when I was in a boy band, but fewer colours when I starred in police dramas. But I've loved dressing in different styles during the different stages of my career. It's brought more vibrancy into my life.'
