Hong Kong-based German jeweller and couture designer Jens-Peter Cam fuses his passions for precious stones and opulent threads in his 'Room with a View' collection.

Cam hosted an exclusive showing of his collection at the Peak Suite in the Four Seasons hotel on March 20, which had the likes of the German embassy's consul-general, Werner Lauk, and some well-heeled tai tais, including Monica Chen, Janana Suleymanli and Sue-Lynn Woo, on the guest list.

The fashion style of the German royal families inspired his bespoke jewellery collection, said Cam. His multifunctional pieces - tiaras that can become evening necklaces, or brooches that can be worn as earrings - were some of the hot items at the launch.

Guests sipped sparkling wines flown in from Germany and took home some glitter on their way out. Each found a bottle of piccolo sparkling wine with 23 carat gold flakes in their goodie bags.
