'We carry the largest range of 100 per cent solid wood children's furniture in Hong Kong and were the first store in Horizon Plaza to specialise in providing a more comfortable bedroom environment,' says Moira Roberts, director of Kokoon Beds and Bedding. 'But we are also continually updating our range for adults in line with customer demands and local trends.'
Among the most popular items in the 6,000 sq ft showroom are Intex airbeds, sofa beds and mattresses. Australian-made Tontine hypo-allergenic quilts and pillows and custom-made bed linen, using high-thread-count, pure cotton fabric, also draw a lot of attention. So too do the newest Kelly and Windsor Alpaca Bamboo quilts - certified by Oeko-Tex as being environmentally friendly - and the super-king-size quilts, which can be made to order and are otherwise hard to find in Hong Kong.
'We offer custom-made mattresses for kids and adults to fit different size and shape requirements,' Roberts says. 'We know that customers are looking for quality, value for money, innovative products, reliability and knowledgeable staff who offer good customer service. So that is what we aim to provide.'
