Casual wear brand Giordano invited singer-actress Ella Koon Yan-na and music producer and composer Chiu Tsang-hei to be guests of honour for the opening of its boutique on Paterson Street in Causeway Bay, a store which merges its women's and Concepts One collections.

The pair modelled the brand's latest collection, inspired by the 'modern ballerina'. The womenswear collection came in a palette of soft latte, baby pink and misty grey, and featured summery abstract prints and Liberty art fabrics.

Chiu might be an expert when it comes to music, but modelling is obviously not his forte. He looked a bit awkward trotting down the runway for the first time, while Koon pulled it off in style.

The duo also shared their styling tips for the new season - incorporating the soft colours into their otherwise black and white daily outfits.

For their efforts, the celebrities were given gifts to echo the collection's other strong trend of contrasting matte and shiny fabrics - frosted coffee glasses.
