Three-year-old gets his way again after hitting the front

'I've been lucky on him - every time I ride Dr Super, they leave him alone,' laughed jockey Jeff Lloyd after the John Size-trained three-year-old took race seven, leading all the way for the second time in two pairings with Lloyd. And Size agreed. 'When he has been beaten, like his last run, it's because they've made him work too hard to get the lead,' Size said. 'Today, it was a big plus for him when Vintage Hussler was scratched this morning. Eternal Beauty went with him for a short time, then let him go, Jeff got a breather on the circle and that was that. Dr Super needs that sort of a run, he is a very big horse. He isn't looking for a trail, he's looking to lead and do his own thing.'
