What I'm watching: I'm obsessed with The Big Bang Theory. It's genius. I love the witticisms, the dynamics of the characters and I have a big crush on Jim Parsons' character, Sheldon. It's just as hilarious when watching reruns. Food and travel shows are a favourite genre too: I enjoy Anthony Bourdain's brashness, Heston Blumenthal's untiring creativity and the overacting in Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

Where I'm surfing: I hate to admit it, but it's mostly Facebook. My excuse is I use it to keep up with fans of Mischa. I remember when we used to write letters, and I'm not sure how I did it. My tech-savvy assistant recently got me into Pinterest. It's like being a kid let loose in an art supplies cupboard.

What I'm reading: Sway: The Irresistible Pull of Irrational Behaviour. I think the title says it all, and I love thought-provoking books in this vein. A friend recommended A Little History of the World. The short chapters suit my bed-time ritual: I fall asleep quickly and this book makes me feel a little smarter for understanding how another piece of history fits into place.

What I'm buying: You mean besides Mischa? Apart from vintage handbags, I only carry my own handbag designs now. I buy most of my clothes from Zara, they've got great dresses and good cashmere jumpers. Shoes are the one thing I splurge on - I'm a loyal fan of Roger Vivier flats and I recently bought a beautiful pair of lizard Tabitha Simmons.
