If you are a fan of Russian cuisine, you are in for a treat. Following the success of its first pop-up restaurant, featuring 'Iron Chef' Masaharu Morimoto, the Landmark Mandarin Oriental hotel has lined up award-winning Anatoly Komm from May 7-9 to cook for diners in its Tian and Di function rooms.

With a background in geophysics and luxury fashion trading, Komm is known for his modern take on traditional Russian gourmet staples. His Varvary restaurant in Moscow was Russia's sole entry on the prestigious San Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants list last year.

Costing HK$2,388 a head, the experience begins at the Kauffman vodka bar, which will be offering vintage vodkas, cocktails and Abrau-Durso Premium Brut - a top-quality Russian sparkling wine available in Hong Kong for the first time.

The eight-course menu features some of the chef's signatures dishes, including borscht with caramalised foie gras on a bed of shredded duck meat with frozen chives and sour cream.
