Big, small and even waxy, wherever you look there is a Gaga lurking somewhere nearby
Shoppers at Harbour City can be forgiven for thinking they've seen Lady Gaga. Perhaps they spotted the life-sized wax model on loan from Hong Kong's Madame Tussaud's or perhaps they bumped into one of the Gaga-lookalike models strutting in the main concourse.
To make everything even more confusing, last Thursday there were two pint-sized Gagas working it in head-to-toe Gaga finery.
Gaga fever has spread to Hong Kong and to celebrate, Harbour City is hosting A Date with Gaga - a collection of Gaga memorabilia, Gaga-inspired fashion, dancing and super fans. One celebrity super-fan, Canto-pop star and fellow Universal recording artist Kary Ng, gushed about what Lady Gaga meant to her.
'She has her own attitude and she seems like she doesn't really care what other people think,' Ng said.
And then of course there are the clothes.
'I really like her clothes. Her clothes are really interesting. Sometimes a little bit overboard but I think it's right for onstage. She just gets into her character.'
The wax Gaga and her accoutrements will remain at Harbour City until May 3 and the exhibition closes on May 7.
