I WAS dismayed and disappointed to read of the imminent 'eviction' of the Community Advice Bureau from St John's Cathedral (story headlined, 'Bureau faces bleak future', South China Morning Post, December 9).

Some six years ago, as the then Director of CAB, I recall discussing its future with the Dean and being assured that CAB was considered an important part of the cathedral's outreach and would always have a place at St John's.
