Full speed ahead
Island South residents will soon enjoy the added convenience of faster travel times. The MTR's Island South Line (East), expected to be completed in 2015, will have stops at Admiralty, Ocean Park, Wong Chuk Hang, Lei Tung and South Horizons at Ap Lei Chau.
The development above Wong Chuk Hang station is set to become another highlight of the district.
Hi-tech by the sea
Cyberport offers much more than an IT hub for companies. Styled in a fusion of nature and technology, it also has a shopping mall with cinemas, restaurants and a hotel, Le Meridien. The Rose Chapel, available for weddings, has a seating capacity for more than 100 guests.
There is also the Aberdeen Marina Club, a traditional weekend retreat. The marina provides 170 berths for 30ft to 100ft yachts. There are also restaurants, a gym and swimming pools.
