What's your academic background?

I graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree in 2008 from Lingnan University, majoring in finance with a minor in risk and insurance.

During my university studies, I participated in internship training in Shanghai and studied in the United States as an exchange student.

How do you start your day?

Every day before I leave the office, I prepare a to-do list for the following day. This schedule helps me work more efficiently, as well as prioritise important tasks.

What does your job entail?

My work is to focus mainly on developing new business and maintaining existing business in order to ensure we achieve our targets.

Every week, I visit our clients and business partners. I also handle client enquires and provide proactive general insurance proposals.

Any advice for those who want to enter the industry?

A passion for insurance is the most important factor. Adopting and maintaining a positive and proactive mindset is also highly recommended.
