Mimi Lau is an experienced and passionate journalist who believes firmly in giving a voice to the voiceless. With more than a decade's experience reporting on human rights, religious affairs, ethnic minorities, women, labour and civil rights issues, she is not only committed to her work and her subjects but also driven in her efforts to highlight social issues and push for change. After seven years as the Post's correspondent in Guangzhou, Mimi is now based in Hong Kong, where she continues to monitor and report on the key political and civil issues affecting mainland China. She has won numerous awards for her work.
