These are the areas where China can join forces with Nordic region

Closer economic cooperation between China and the Nordic region could create ample business opportunities for young entrepreneurs, said Esko Aho, former prime minister of Finland.
After a short visit to Hong Kong, Qianhai and Guangzhou, Aho said clean technology, health care, digitalisation of education and tourism are areas that could benefit from cooperation between the two sides.
He said the world should carefully consider how to create a growth model as the economy slows down in Europe and China. “I believe there are good reasons to look at a systemic way into what Finland and other countries can do with Hong Kong and China,” he said.
He cited the example of environment business opportunities, in which the Nordic region, including Finland, has a high level of expertise.

Clean technology includes recycling, renewable energy (wind power, solar power, biomass, hydropower and biofuels), information technology, green transportation, electric motors, green chemistry, lighting and energy-efficient appliances.
Other potential areas of cooperation include bioeconomy, referring to the set of economic activities relating to the invention, development, production and use of biological products and processes.
