China Aircraft Leasing has reached an agreement with Airbus to buy four Airbus A320 aircraft for an aggregate basic price of about US$375.6 million (HK$2.9 billion), it said on Tuesday.

The basic price includes the airframe, optional features and engine.

The company also said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange that it had signed agreements to lease two Airbus A320 aircraft to Sichuan Airlines and another four to Chengdu Airlines.

China Aircraft Leasing became Asia’s first plane lessor to go public last month. It had 32 planes in service at the end of last year, with an average fleet age of 3.3 years.
