The China Securities Regulatory Commission has launched an inspection into the completed mergers and acquisitions by listed companies, particularly those that have failed to deliver the financial performance they promised A-share investors. At a press conference on Friday afternoon, the regulator said it would also continue to crack down on non-compliance in information disclosure and other fraud practices during the initial public offering process.
