
Shares of China's companies trading in the United States showed modest price movements on Thursday after rising a day earlier.
Nasdaq-listed Qunar Cayman Islands, which is engaged in offering a mobile and e-commerce platform for travel in China, was down 0.71 per cent at US$33.77 at midday in New York. It rose 8.8 per cent on Wednesday.
Ctrip.com International, which runs the Ctrip.com travel website, dropped 1.31 per cent to US$71.35, while Jumei International Holding, an online retailer of beauty products, rose 0.5 per cent to US$10.03.
Shares of Alibaba were down 1.68 per cent to US$66.10.
However, internet company Youku Tudou saw its shares fall 3.03 per cent to US$17.30 while 58.com, which operates an online marketplace serving local merchants and consumers in China, was down 3.36 per cent at US$42.04.
