Growth in emerging Asia and Asia-Pacific as a whole is still stronger than most other regions. Moody's Investors Service projects the median of real gross domestic product growth in emerging Asia will come in at 4.7 per cent this year and 4.5 per cent next, and that of Asia-Pacific will grow 3.9 per cent and 3.8 per cent, respectively. Sub-Saharan African is the only part of the world that will grow faster: 5.6 per cent this year and 6 per cent next. By contrast, Latin America's economy will expand 3.4 per cent and 3.7 per cent, respectively, while the economy in the Middle East and North Africa will see growth of 3.1 per cent and 3.3 per cent, and Central and Eastern Europe 2.7 per cent and 3 per cent.
