We are saddened by what happened to our photographer Felix Wong in Shenzhen today and condemn the excessive police force used against him particularly after he repeatedly identified himself as a reporter. Felix is now receiving medical treatment. We do not condone violent behavior in any circumstance and we will be lodging an official complaint to the Shenzhen municipal authorities.
