The silly game being played by China's top leaders of keeping future president Xi Jinping hidden from the public has continued for nearly two weeks. The Foreign Ministry previously lied to overseas media about a high-profile diplomatic meeting to which Xi never showed up.
Xi's next public appearance is expected to be at the China-ASEAN expo in Nanning on September 21.
