Video: Hongkonger in Shenzhen accused of taking 'upskirt' video

A video posted on Sina Video on Tuesday, of what has been claimed to be a man from Hong Kong secretly filming under the skirt of a woman on a busy Shenzhen street, has been circulating on microblogging site Sina Weibo.

The minute-long clip, filmed by a Putonghua-speaking man, follows a man in a green sweater as he tails a female pedestrian while he holds a black shopping bag suspiciously near her skirt.

About 50 seconds into the video, the man with the camera and his friend confront the man with the shopping bag and accuse him of secretly filming the woman.

According to a news report on Sina News on Thursday, the two men found a video camera inside the shopping bag. After they demanded identification, it is claimed the man showed them a Hong Kong identity card which indicated he was born in 1983.

The two men said the Hongkonger attempted to buy his way out and asked them to “give him a chance”. They refused and brought him to a police car nearby, which was empty as the officers were on patrol.
