The veteran filmmaker was one of a clutch of Hong Kong winners at the Golden Horse awards, picking up best director at the event dubbed as "the Oscars of the Chinese film world". The star of To's film Life Without Principle, Sean Lau Ching-wan, won best actor. So many awards went to Hong Kong and mainland films that some Taiwanese lawmakers called for the event to be scrapped.

Unfortunately, editors at China's state mouthpiece missed the joke and ran the story straight on its website - complete with 55 photos of Kim at his sexiest.
