Collectors in Hong Kong have a chance to snap up a piece of Hollywood history in the form of a pocket watch worn on film by actor James Dean. Dean considered the watch a lucky charm and wore it while appearing in films including East of Eden. Dean gave the watch to a studio colleague before his untimely death in 1955. Antiquorum Auctioneers expects it to fetch US$5,000 to US$10,000 at a sale at the Mandarin Oriental hotel today.

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim leads a rally today against alleged electoral fraud in last month's election. The poll saw the ruling National Front coalition returned to power with a reduced majority despite claiming less than half of the popular vote. Anwar has promised to campaign against the election results despite threats of prosecution for sedition against those who speak at his rallies.
