Police reveal latest crime picture

AIG has revived plans for a float of the leasing unit since the original deadline for the deal with Jumbo Acquisition expired almost two months ago. General Keith Alexander, head of the National Security Agency, is the keynote speaker at the Black Hat 2013 gathering at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, in an appearance confirmed by the organisers before Snowden fled to Hong Kong to leak NSA secrets.

Three giants of Japanese industry report their first-quarter results, offering hints as to the state of the world's third-biggest economy. Honda is on a roll, getting a solid lift from a weak yen and healthy sales in emerging markets while Panasonic is struggling to achieve a turnaround. Nintendo's earnings will reflect the help it is getting from a weak yen, offsetting shaky sales of the Wii U game console.
Mugabe favoured in controversial poll
Zimbabwe goes to the polls amid fresh suspicions that the elections will again be manipulated in favour of veteran president Robert Mugabe. Although both Mugabe and his fierce rival Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai have been predicting that they would win the contest by huge margins, political analysts say it could be a tight race in which Mugabe's control of the electoral machinery might prove the decisive element.
British rockers make HK debut
British indie rock stars The xx make their eagerly awaited Hong Kong debut at a sold-out Kitec. Band members Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith said earlier they were looking forward to presenting the show, part of a larger summer Asian tour. The group shot to fame with their debut album xx, which won Britain's prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 2010.
