United States President Barack Obama holds one-on-one talks in Beijing with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping. The discussions follow the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit, which ended yesterday. The two leaders are expected to focus on areas of cooperation, as well as differences, including Beijing's claims to the South China Sea and cyberespionage. Obama will then travel to Napypyidaw in Myanmar for the East Asia Summit.

Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying concludes his trip to Beijing with visits to various ministries to receive briefings on their work. Leung was in the capital for the Apec summit. He earlier met President Xi Jinping and discussed the Occupy protests. Leung is accompanied by Transport and Housing Secretary Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, who will visit the Transport Ministry tomorrow before returning to Hong Kong.
