On experts claiming dramatic rise in cases of hand, foot and mouth disease in HK were due to humid weather and population's low overall immunity:

Sean Niem - It has nothing to do with hygiene. Millions of years of evolution equipped us with fighting pathogens. But a few decades of modern industrialised living compromised our abilities to defend our own bodies: processed food and poor nutrition, overuse of antibiotics, pollution and toxins, lack of sleep due to heavy schoolwork.

Kaz O'Carroll - Building immunity when young equals the best prevention. A little bit of play and fresh air never hurt anyone! But the excessive prevention and wrapping in cotton wool is the issue here!

Patrick Shu Wing Lee - Wash our hands, keep clean, observe hygiene rules, and be healthy.
