The Chinese tourist are supporting the economy of Hong Kong, I don't doubt it is true. However, what do I benefit from it? It seems like the rent is going skyrocket as the luxury brands are coming in, making the tycoons are the only survivors. I have less option of purchasing my daily needs. The train is more packed and I find no peace on my daily commute.

香港有7百萬人, 全國有10億. 部份不良份子中國人影響到香港人對內地人的觀感.
一個中國人做壞事, 是否十億人都是壞人呢?

Ha, don't be silly, just go to search some international polls for people's comments towards Mainland Chinese tourists first and you can get a idea that "Good people" are as rare as not-corrupted officials in China. Btw, may be a good news , while Chinese tourists are the second most irritating , American are at the top, so cheers for China suppressed Britain and catching up with U.S .

This is actually a very sad fact, because not only that there are so many intellects and scholars in mainland, but also that this view will hinder the Hong Kong people to look at mainland objectively.

I think that Mainlanders can be accepted in Hong Kong, if they don't do anything that will influence the Hong Kong badly, and if they respect the rules in Hong Kong also having some manner. But one thing is that the ones who showed no decency in HK are absolutely not to be welcome to HK. We need a nice and clean city. And for those who didn't follow the rules, and showed no manners: please, get back to your place. You are not welcomed in here.
