Come for the attractions, stay for the privileges, and leave only when you want to. For Thailand Elite members, staying up to five, 10 or 20 years without having to leave is only one among the many reasons for making Thailand their second home.
“The stunning mountains, exotic lakes, gorgeous beaches, beautiful climate and delightful people are just the beginnings of what Thailand offers,” says Pruet Boobphakam, president of Thailand Privilege Card. “While most visitors leave with only memories, our rich culture and legendary hospitality leave others yearning for more – to come back for a more personalised experience, maybe buy a property or even make Thailand a home away from theirs. With Thailand Elite membership, they can do that and much more.”
Thailand Elite combines special services and advantages ranging from leisure to business and immigration. Apart from enjoying VIP treatment at hotels, spas, golf courses and even medical facilities throughout the country, members have access to 24/7 call centres with international representatives.
Presenting the finest that the country can offer to high-net-worth individuals, businessmen, investors and long-stay groups, Thailand Elite was launched in 2003 under Thailand Privilege Card and as part of the Tourism Authority of Thailand – and became the first country membership programme in the world.
Marking its 13th anniversary, Thailand Elite has introduced four new programmes: the Elite Family Excursion, Elite Family Alternative, Elite Privilege Access and Elite Superiority Extension. Complementing the original Elite Easy Access, Elite Property Partnership, and Elite Ultimate Privilege Grand Package programmes, the new packages offer further flexibility and customisability.
“We recognise the evolving needs of our members – among which is sharing their privileges with their family,” Pruet says. “One advantage of our family bundles is doing away with individual visas – it is the kind of exclusivity that shows how we look after each family member. Our service starts from picking them up at the aircraft, then, through an express channel and our luxurious limousine standing by, to escort them to any of Thailand’s destinations.”
Thailand Elite envisions growing the programme to provide even more exclusive privileges in the next three to five years by working closely with additional general sales and service agents, affiliates and other partners throughout Thailand and overseas.
“We welcome partners and members, particularly in China and Southeast Asia, where the growing affluent may be looking to diversify their investments while being treated to the elite Thailand experience that money alone cannot buy,” Pruet says.
