In the long run: Visualising the Hong Kong Marathon results

This year's Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon was won on Sunday morning by Gemeda Feyera in 2:15:04. Fellow Ethiopian Rehima Kedir took the title for women in 2:34:52. We trace the milestones of the marathon challenge, the toughest among the event's races, from the firing gun to the last second.

The organisers can help make the Challenge a much better race by raising the entry requirement. Moving 5+ hour runners to the other starts will vastly improve the chaotic start by removing the need for real runners to fight through the crowd of non-serious runners. Non-serious runners would not be affected since they are non-serious anyway.
I am a serious runner but just that I am also seriously slow.
it's not a easy task. how can you differentate those serious and non-serious runners?
