A nap in a map

British buggy brand Maclaren has a reputation for producing quirky and limited-edition runs, and its range of city-inspired blankets are no exception. HK$350 at Maclaren, shop 2010, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2295 1618

Tower of love

The Je T'Aime table lamp, designed by Frenchman Pierre Gonalons for Ascete, adds an off-kilter feature to urban living spaces. The lacquer-coated steel base and stand is an homage to Paris' most visited monument. The wonky lampshade gives it a quirky edge. Available in black or silver metallic metal. HK$2,999 at Aluminium, shop D, 8 Kingston Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2577 4766

India, inked

Front runner

From its primary position as fisherman's harbour to pulsating hub of Kowloon, the buildings of Yau Ma Tei represent decades of urban development in Hong Kong.
