Miriam Yeung

After a four-month maternity break, yummy mummy Miriam Yeung Chin-wah is back in business.

On Wednesday, the singer-actress made her first public appearance since giving birth in June, appearing at a promotion for beauty centre LightMac in the Four Seasons hotel ballroom.

Yeung was glowing in a jumpsuit and killer heels, and had a lot to say about her baby boy, Torres. "Taking care of Torres helps me understand the kind of love parents are willing to give," she said. "I think the relationship between me and my husband [public relations consultant Real Ting Chi-ko] has also reached another level."

Yeung's life has revolved around Torres since he was born and now she's getting back into shape and looking forward to working again.

"I want my son's friends to think that I'm pretty, and when he grows up I hope he will want to find a girlfriend who's as pretty as his mum. That would certainly make it easier for me to deal with my potential daughter-in-law."

In the coming three months, however, Yeung will be separated briefly from Torres as she has signed up for jobs on the mainland and overseas.
