Canto-pop idol and girl-about-town Kary Ng Yu-fei isn't only taking care of the music for her solo concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum next January but the production and wardrobe, too.
"I've always enjoyed taking on new challenges," the petite beauty said on Tuesday at the opening of denim brand Levi's first womenswear store at the Langham Place shopping mall.
"You won't know how far you can go until you really push the boundaries and that's why I'll also be involved in production and costume design for the concert," said Ng.
The singer looked very casual chic in an ensemble of gold-foiled skinny jeans and leather jacket at the Mong Kok mall.
She may be wrapped in sequins and glitter on stage, but a T-shirt and jeans make up her day-to-night outfit.
"My off-duty uniform is a white T-shirt matching a good-fitting pair of jeans," Ng said. "I accessorise up for a daily look with chunky jewellery, and for a night out I'll just throw on a pair of high heels."
